YK MOVE Challenge - Terms of Use
1. The Challenge
The YK MOVE Challenge is a 30-day fitness challenge open to participants in New Zealand and Australia. Participants complete daily workouts, earn points, and compete on city and overall leaderboards. The challenge runs from 1 September 2026 to 30 September 2026 inclusive.
2. Eligibility
You must be 13 years of age or older to use the App. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.
The YK MOVE Challenge is open to residents of New Zealand and Australia, excluding residents of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), who are not eligible to enter the cash prize draw. Participants aged 13–17 may enter and claim a prize only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and we may require written proof of that consent. We may also require proof of identity, age and residency before paying a prize.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may not share your account or allow others to access it. One account per person — duplicate accounts may be removed.
4. Entry
Entry to the YK MOVE Challenge is free — no purchase is necessary to enter or win. There are no paid tiers, subscriptions or memberships. You enter by completing the free entry order on the YOUKNOW website and creating an account in the App using the same email address.

5. Workout Completions and Anti-Cheat
Each workout day may only be completed once, on the day it is due. Backdating completions is not permitted. We reserve the right to remove points, reset streaks, or suspend accounts where we detect manipulation of the completion system.
6. Leaderboards and Cash Prize Draw
Leaderboards are based on points earned through legitimate workout completions and are for recognition and motivation during the challenge.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. There is a total cash prize pool of NZ$5,000 and AU$5,000 (promoted together as "$10,000 in cash"), awarded as two separate cash prizes:
- New Zealand: NZ$5,000 (five thousand New Zealand dollars) to one eligible New Zealand participant; and
- Australia: AU$5,000 (five thousand Australian dollars) to one eligible Australian participant.
Who goes into the draw. To be entered into the draw you must complete all 30 days of the challenge, be a resident of New Zealand or Australia, and meet the eligibility requirements in clause 2. The Australian prize draw is not open to residents of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Each participant who completes the challenge receives one entry in the draw for their country. No single participant can win more than one prize, and the most any participant can win is the one cash prize for their country.
How winners are chosen. Winners are chosen by random selection from the pool of eligible participants who completed the challenge — the New Zealand winner is drawn from eligible New Zealand participants on 3 October 2026, and the Australian winner is drawn from eligible Australian participants (excluding the ACT) on 4 October 2026. Draws are conducted electronically using a random-selection method.
Combined-figure promotion. Where the prize is promoted using a combined figure such as "$10,000", that figure will always be shown together with a clear statement that it is split into NZ$5,000 for one New Zealand winner and AU$5,000 for one Australian winner, and the currency of each prize will be stated.
Permits. The Australian prize draw excludes ACT residents. Where a permit is otherwise required in any Australian state or territory, this promotion is conducted under permit number(s) [insert if applicable before launch].
Notification and claims. Winners will be notified by email and/or the App within 7 days of the relevant draw, and may need to verify their identity, age and residency (and, for participants aged 13–17, parent/guardian consent) to claim. A winner must claim their prize within 14 days of being notified. If a prize is not claimed within that time, or the drawn participant is ineligible, an unclaimed-prize redraw will be held from the remaining eligible participants for that country.
Payment. Each cash prize is paid in the currency stated, by bank transfer to an account in the winner's name (or their parent/guardian's name where the winner is a minor), within 14 days of the winner being verified. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash of another currency or any other benefit. Any tax payable on a prize is the winner's responsibility.
Fair play. We reserve the right to disqualify any participant from the draw, prizes or recognition if their account shows evidence of manipulation. Details of any additional finisher rewards will be communicated through the App and YOUKNOW social channels.
7. Community and Group Chat
The App includes city group chat features. You agree not to post content that is offensive, harassing, discriminatory, or illegal. We reserve the right to remove messages and suspend accounts that violate this policy.
8. Health and Fitness Disclaimer
The workouts in this App are for general fitness purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Consult a healthcare professional before starting any new exercise programme, particularly if you have a pre-existing medical condition. You participate at your own risk.
9. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including workout programmes, videos, branding, and design — is owned by YOUKNOW and may not be reproduced without permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, YOUKNOW is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the App or participation in the challenge. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986 (New Zealand) or, for Australian participants, the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand. This does not remove any protection available to Australian participants under the mandatory consumer laws of Australia.
